China Netcom, Telefonica Team up Closer for Olympic 2008

China Netcom announced on June 26, 2007 that it has signed a letter of intent with Spain-based telecom Telefonica to cooperate in providing global television transmission services to some related countries and regions during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. China Netcom and Telefonica will also join hands in the development of technologies and virtual network business.
